rats and hedgehogs

Along with my two girls I also have a hedgehog. My hedgehog often has free roam of the room , and I was wondering , if I let my rats out and hedgehog at the same time will they fight? or worse ... :evil:

That's one chance I certainly wouldn't take.

Not a good idea to mix species.
Rats see other species as prey or predators.

I wouldn't do it... I wouldn't even try. You just never know. I've heard of a lady, she used to let her Degu play with her rat...well, the rat killed the Degu.

Oh my goodness, that is awful. :sad3: I guess from now on i will only let them out separately.
