I hope you find someone to pick him up for you! I really wish I could help but I'm in BC. I can't believe anyone could love rats enough to have them as pets and then just sell one as snake food. I feel like the rat isn't too big to be a girl, so that's definitely a possibility judging by the picture.

What a wonderful outcome! Aww he looks a bit like my first rat Gus. If nothing else, I’m sure him being neutered will help greatly with any biting, especially at his age.
