Hello everyone,

One of my boys, Oliver, has a very stubborn case of respiratory illness (just when I think it's gone, it comes back with a vengeance) and was prescribed Theophylline (to be used for extreme distress) , and baytril and zithro. According to the bottle, theophylline needs to be refrigerated but last night after arriving home at midnight from work, I forgot to put in back in the fridge. It stayed on my table, at room temperature, overnight. Should I now toss it out? I just bought it yesterday morning! :cry4:

Thank you for your time!

Linda

I'd keep it, a few hours even overnight isn't anything to stress over.

A few of my kids used to be on aminophylline (same line of drugs) and we had to refrigerate it too. Left it out once or twice overnight, still worked after that :wink2: Just don't do it a lot!

My Archie has been battling myco/pneumonia/respiratory infection for a long time now. I decided on a whim to add Doxy to his zithro and Baytril. He's seems to have improved a bit, more energy now.
Let us know how it goes with the theophylline!
