Question on novo when he plays.

Novo has always been playful and he always likes runs around and if i tickle him he grabs my finger like nips it..
But in the last 2 days like he does the same only if i pet him when hes getting excited and its harder but not sore but its a scare because hes never done it this hard.
Could he be treating me like toto or could this mean im annoying him ?
Im just scared incase he BITES hard i would be totally freaked.

Sounds like he's playing a little too hard with you. When a rat gets very excited, sometimes they forget just how hard they are playing. I would discourage any nipping. Don't do anything that leads up to the nipping.
