Hey guys,
My rat Tail is about a year old now, and the claws on her back feet are so long. Her front paws are ok, they are always short, but her back feet, both the claws closest to her body are starting to curve kind of. Does that make sense? lol. If not I'll try and post a picture of it. But what should I do, just leave it, cut them a bit?
Edit : sorry, i shouldnt have put this topic under ER >.<

Hi Kat, it does make sense when you write that they are starting to curl a bit cause this does happen with rats. You can clip them with human nail clippers. Just do the tip so you are sure not to hit the quick. Also, filing them down will do it.

It's kind of crazy that this is being brought up right now... I noticed Baby Girl's toenail was getting long and starting to thicke nand curl just a couple of days ago and I was going to ask about it... Thanks for asking, Kat, and thanks for the advice, Jo and moon!
