I have a mink hooded young rescue (approx 4months old) she was found in a box about a week ago with a male and female the same age.
We have been wondering if she is pregnant.
Can rats go into heat while pregnant? I just introduced her to my very friendly desexed male and the two got along just fine. He is very chilled out and she was all over him! Doing the ear wiggle and arching her back she was going crazy!
Now please correct me if i am wrong but i thought that pregnant female rats did not act this way around males?
Does this mean she is not pregnant? help!
