That's a LOT better than a bin! But something we forgot to mention, is bar spacing. The DCN may be fine for when the babies get here, but remember, rats only need a TINY space to squeeze through when they are babies (think mouse size), and are fast learners and love to explore and escape if possible. So when you get the new cage, check the spacing. If need be, you can use just one section of the DCN and put mesh o around the INSIDE of the bars, secured with tie wraps. Once they get big enough, just cut the ties, and remove the mesh! I had babies constantly making escapes, and had to get creative with their cage for a bit.
But also, once the babies arrive, I'd only do spot cleans daily, and count the kiddos often. Once they get their eyes open, and can move and crawl around, around 2 weeks old, I'd do a good deep clean, then return to weekly cleanings, and daily spot cleans (which you should ALWAYS do). By the way, baby rats are amazing to watch grow and learn. Enjoy every minute of it, and handle them every day, so they are good and used to people. Watch their little personalities bloom!
