I am a bit tired of doing memorials this month. I put Pikas off trying to figure out how I could can I explain pika. I wont do pictures the only way to truly show my crazy girl is her videos. Pika has been with me since about September of 2010. She was at least 4 or 5 months old when I brought her home.

I went to the pet store, the one i refuse to go to now. I seen a woman talking to the manager with a shoe box in her hand. I could see a little nose coming out of the hole. I heard the manager saying she could put her in the bin and she would probably be sold as snake food. I told the woman that I would take her. The woman said her daughter got her and was ignoring her. She was in a tank and you could tell she was bored. I can only imagine my girl being put in a tank, she would chew through the glass.

Pika was a trip, we had our rats out on a table prior to the rat room for over a year I think. The most asked question to my daughter was "where's pika?" we had to watch her like a hawk.

She hated the smell of Edgar, Eli and bart when they first came here.

she was always my most noisy rat. She would squeak at everything.

She didnt care how she got to the floor, the dog was a perfect way down.

Pika was always on the go. She never seemed to slow down at all. She was constantly running and getting into stuff and always a trouble maker. When we moved into the rat room she settled down, she finally was able to get to the floor. She enjoyed over a year of floor time and lived with many rats. I cannot believe my girl was this old it seems like she just came here. Our house will be quiet with out her antic here. She was an amazing personality and a crazy little pika.

Rest well sweet girl, we will miss you like crazy.

What a beautiful energetic little girl. She arose from humble beginnings to grow into her crazily wonderful, beautifully messy personality. This memorial is one that actually brings tears to my eyes, as she actually reminds me of my little black hooded spaz, Henrietta. :sad4:

Awwww, she reminds me of my Squee, who BTW was a black hooded.
R.I.P. sweet girl, you will be missed.

Is it just me, or is it black hoods that are just little spazzes, always completely full of the dickens?

I mostly got sad because it brought tears to my eyes to think about losing my little Henny (she's still with us, I didn't want it to sound like she was gone or anything). She may be a spaz, but she will always be my spaz.

It never fails to amaze me how these critters all have their own, individual personalities. Out of the five rats I've had in my life, all of them were as different as day and night. And I like seeing that, even down the line of having so many of these babies, that still stays the same.

Rest peacefully Pikachu baby. I'm sorry you had to go at all.

I had the pleasure of meeting this wild child last summer. She will be missed and was most loved for her behavior.
