No Oxbow or Harlan in the UK >.< Now what?

I honestly have no idea what to feed anymore...my cruddy uninformed version of the shunamite diet left my previous rats obese, and the vet advised me to feed Reggie Regal Rat which I guess was okay since they did lose weight (too little too late), though they left bits of food they didn't like, though I tried to make up for it with at least 3 different kinds of fresh food a night...just wondering if there's any other rat food available in the UK that's affordable and any better than Reggie Rat?

Any chance that "Reggie REgal Rat" is the same as Oxbow (which is also called Regal Rat)?

Well it's a colourful mix rather than plain pellets like Oxbow is...unless I'm just confused and adding the word regal and google is somehow complying with that lol XD
It's definately low protein and low fat so I probably am going to stick to Reggie Rat stuff-I'm planning on starting to grow my own herbs and possibly a few veggies all nice and organic-like, so that should help supplement their diet too... :3 I wonder what they get fed in the rescue I'm planning on visiting....

Reggie Rat is not the same as Oxbow but I have to say, it's not a bad diet, a lot of people don't like it but for a while I did have mine on it and they did pretty good. I thought there was a nugget type of food available in the UK for rats?
The Shunamite might be ok if you follow it completely and also, limit the amount per day. Ask the maker of the Shunamite diet, tell her your concerns and she may be able to help you.

Im feeding Pets at Home Rat Nuggets at the minute. My rat used to be on Reggie and he left pretty much everything. There is also something else you can get. Ill dig out a link for you
