Fellow shackers, this is a new FB pal of mine who is interested in learning more about what to feed the rat her daughter left her with about six months ago.
She wasn't planning to be a rat owner, so she's got a lot of questions about their care etc.

Please tell us more about your rat- How old is she, do you know? what kind of cage is she in?
Most rats do not like living alone, they really need the company of other rats.
There know another person who lives in the same area as you who may be able to help you find a rescue where you can get your girl a friend.

Sorry when off the grid,my kitty Lucky had a couple rough days of low numbers , He is a diabetic and being o 2 messages boards is kinda hard during that time.I will get a good Picture of Squeaky when she comes out of her hiding place. talk soon. Nice to meet you all
