new spider

i have always like spiders but rescued a chilean rose hair last last spring and think tarantulas are the bomb!! ive been researching what ive wanted and came up with mexican red knee and got my new baby last week. have no idea yet if boy or girl but he/she is only 1" long and has eaten twice since last wednesday. i believe a molt is coming soon since sunday was the last day food was eaten. i have a pic but really doesnt look like much yet if you saw it would appear to be a "spider" LOL.

That is awesome! For my birthday a few years back, a friend got me a pink-toed tarantula. They really are awesome to watch, especially while they build webs.

I'm afraid of spiders more than anything, but I think they're very fascinating. Congrats on your new addition! :thumbup:
