New cage for the girls

As of right now they are living in a large bird cage that I converted with shelves, ladders ect.. and today I found this cage for forty bucks! now all I have to do is clean it up, cover the wire floor (any ideas?) and decorate it.

Is that the new cage in the pic? Looks like the wire floors are already covered up. I like the different colors, very neat.

the shelves are, not the floor. for now I have a towel clipped on the cover it

You can cover the bottom with fleece too. Add boxes like tissue boxes or pepsi boxes... hanging chew toys.

We have that cage and use it for our cockatiels! (I really like it for them.) :thumbup:

The calculator says enough room for five rats, so I'm sure my two will have lots of room Here it is now


I still need to run to the dollar store and get a few things to fill the space though

Did you get the black pan that slides into the bottom? I don't see it in the pictures.

You have done a great job filling it up for them!

No, I didn't know it had a pan, it would probably be nice to have.
