awhile back there was this cute video of a rat bugging a cat for love, well my newest rattie, Mousey love Frankie our Orange Kitty, I caught a few pictures of them today, they are so funny to watch, don't worry I never leave them with out me very close

For the most part my cats are scared of my rats and I am ok with that.

My older cats are not too fond of the rats, they don't like the rats to go near them but the young kitties, I have to be careful because they really want to play/catch the rats.

It really does make a sweet picture.

For those with cats and rats, how do you guys stop the cats from clawing the rats through the bars or jumping on the rat cages?

I have both animals, but the cats never have contact with the rats. I admit I am a tad on the paranoid side as some of my cats are too lazy to go after a butterfly, however the others cats were keen hunters, before they were banned from roaming free. But my main concern is a rat getting clawed through the bars.

such cuteness our cat also loved rats; she would eat,drink and sleep with them like they were her buddies(always been watched in case) Sadly Maiden passed away last month(she had been hit by a car where she ran outside; she was a indoor cat but cats can be sneaky) Also pictured with her is Monkey.

Cute pics, my cats don't seem to bother my rats but I noticed when they have a hairball it's always close to a cage. lol
