Merle is from a hoarding situation at the beach and came to me as a baby with his brothers. He was the mellowest baby I've ever seen, to the point I almost wondered if something was wrong with him. I'd pick him up and he'd just relax in my arms.He still does this. Turns out he's just a mellow guy. He can be a bit hormonal and frequently gets into little scuffles with the alpha, Evandus. But he seems content in his beta role in the cage.
