As it states ya'll... Lyra and I are going to the vet tomrrow to end her suffering. I'm sorry I've not said much here other then bad news but when trying to keep up with our little family, my husband working and me trying to make a living on online art selling it's become a struggle.
Anyways... Lyra has had tumors these past few months but as of three days ago one began to grow within her nose cavity. It's putting pressure on the left side of her face and is pushing on her ear and nostrils to the point she'll eventually sufforcate or lose her eye. She's an old girl, about 2 and half years old so right about up where Zera was when I was forced to put her down. I would have held on to Lyra longer have it not been for the tumor growing in her snout. But I don't want her to suffer and I know they can't do surgery on her face like that and her little body being riddled with them...would just put too much pressure on her.
It's another sad month for our little rat pack... Wish us luck...:tearful:
