lump

Hello,

I've attached a pic, and circled the area on my rat where I feel a small lump.

I adopted a pair of rats from the SPCA on Oct 16. They were neutered on Oct 15. The one rat's incision opened on Oct 18. It's the same rat who now has this lump. I had the incision site checked out by the veterinary staff at the SPCA on Oct 19, and then by my vet on Oct 26 when they both had PEs. The incision site looked good, and healed nicely. I'm not sure how long this small lump has been there, but I just noticed it today. I don't know if it's related to the neuter, like some kind of reaction... or something else. Any ideas?

Did they confirm they took out both testicles? Could it be an undescended ball? Scar tissue from healing? How is he? Is he eating, playing and no piloerection?

The neuter was done at the SPCA before they were even available to adopt. He's 3 months old. He's acting like his normal happy self.
