local "breeder's" ratties (disturbing picture)

This is a picture of rats for sale by a local "breeder" (snake owner) here in Nova Scotia.
This picture wasn't consider too bad to post so I can only imagine what conditions are like that are too bad to show the public.

Poor little ratties ... :cry:

Just another reason I don't buy pet supplies or anything from stores that sell animals ...

When I was considering a fourth and final rat my mother in law suggested a son of a friend of hers. I went to this guys place early this year to help my sister in law pick out a hamster. I will NEVER buy from this guy. he keeps them in rubbermaid containers, very little air flow. It's sickening. A very much a BYB.

I don't think he has rats. Well he has one but I don't think he has rats. Either way, I will never buy from him.

How's this for a disturbing picture: These are cage bases that came from a breeder AFTER I tried to clean them. I should have taken a before.
