Any ideas? Anyone ever seen anything. I have three older girls who are all loosing their hind end in a retirement cage but all of my litter boxes have too high of a lip for them to easily get in and out of. One of my girls has hind end degeneration really badly. Normally I wouldn't care since they are old. Let them do what they want. But they do seem to be pooing in one corner of the cage so I think it would be possible if they had a litter box.

One of my big litter boxes has a lower part in the middle of the front edge. I wonder if you could cut a rectangular shape out of the litter boxes you have, then sand off the edge.

Asha is losing her back end now at 33 months and had too much trouble climbing any lip of the litter pans. I have a plastic serving tray from the dollar store with MewsPrint in it. Its messy since it goes far and wide but the oldies can use it too.
