It's a sin on so many levels - the kid shouldn't have brought it home without asking, and I wish that parents could be more understanding towards animals sometimes...

Not only that but he is in a cage big enough for a HAMSTER!!

Hope someone who knows something will offer to take him, without cage, for free
to give a loving home or find him a good loving home ...

That is so sad, poor little bugger. I hope whoever gets him knows how to take care of him properly. In these instances it's almost a blessing if they end up at a shelter.

I emailed yesterday suggesting a shelter ...
but it sounds like this person wants their money back.
Since it has to be gone by tomorrow, perhaps others could email suggesting a shelter as well?

Oh, that's just terrible. That cage is waaaay too small. Hopefully he gets adopted by tomorrow, I wonder what the boy will do if he isn't adopted?.....
