My heart really aches for you. With a special ratty like Isabelle, it takes so long even to accept the loss. It is so very painful when the memories are fresh.

I remember Isabelle and Cado and how you turned what could have been a tragedy for them into a new, wonderful life. I am so very sorry.

Oh Joanne, I am so very sorry for you, she was such a beauty, & you 2 loved each other so, just know how very lucky you both were to have each other, {{HUGS}}

Oh Jo, like a blow to the gut to read this. Isabelle was one of my own heartwise. Also one of the prettiest kids I ever saw. Her & Cado were a proud place in your life. And a most Lucky place in theirs. And their whole welcome post was so uplifting to so many.
I believe that people saw your post and found some other way to celebrate 'School's Out' than using Cado & Isabelle & others. How could anyone have seen it and not recognized that they're not toys or pawns, they're valued living breathig and very aware giving individuals.
I think of you and Cado & Isabelle when school's out. We haven't had that here, I hope that you haven't either since.
I'm so sorry for your loss of Isabelle. She's gone too to Cado I guess.. Very special kids. (Exceedingly beautiful too) I expect they are running free again like they did in the hallways but in a place where they are totally safe and there's no freaks on the sidelines or doors at the end.
