Well.. Its still sounds like an Infection to me.. If there is any way to bring him to a vet I would. He's very small so make sure he's getting lots of good nutrients as he's still growing and needs lots of vitamins.

Thats good to hear. I would listen to his breathing everyday to make sure he's alright for the next week or so. Rats are very good at hiding their sickness so kep a close eye on him.

He looks like he wouldn't even be weaned yet! You may want to give him some organic soy infant formula. If I'm not mistaken, he looks around between 2-3 weeks. He wouldn't have been weaned until about 5 weeks....

Agreed although some rats are just small but he looks to still have baby fuzz

He looks like his eyes just opened a couple days ago, and his ears don't even look completely open!

Yah hes really young. I knew the when we got him. We have a seperate cage alllll the way at the end of the house. We have a little other (4 weeks old ) guy and were socialising him with my older rats. (about 4 mts) theyre doing great. Were doing the stage were we purt him the older rats cage. They love it in there they just avoid eachother.
