Is there any way to make tumours stop growing

If a rat had a small tumour that wasnt growing fast at all, could it have stoped growing? If not, is there anything someone can do/give to them to make it stop growing? Or is removal the only way?

i would think only removing it would be the way.

Way back before we went the surgery route, we tried some supplements like pau d'arco and mycoplex...but it never worked. Surgery and spaying was the only way.
