C73A7ADD-E491-419B-B9C3-48F6604F1E02.jpeg Hi, one of my female rats has had quite a nasty foot injury. There seems to be a laceration, very noticeable. It is very swollen too. She is currently eating and drinking fine, but she is unable to put any pressure onto her little foot at all. I've been keeping it clean but any other advice would be highly appreciated!

She likely needs some metacam for pain and swelling. Clear infant ibuprofen will work if you don't have metacam. If you need help with dosages, www.ratguide.com or Lilspaz can help you. You'll need the weight of your rat in grams. Hope she gets better!
