just wanted to drop a quick update to the biting situation. we decided to move our babies into the spare bedroom, away from the high pitched scream of my daughter. i have been spending a lot of one on one time with everyone and the girls, especially mocha seem to be bonding more with me now. no biting, just love bites and a tun of them now. each time i reach into the cage, i have pixel and mocha sort of pulling on my fingers, so i pet them and they squash down flat for more pets and if i stop i get love bites and a tug to pet them more. thank you for all the info and advice. mocha was scared, ya'll were right i think.
the spare room also enables them to have the freedom to climb up and down the outside of their cage, so this is a huge plus.
