How to mix POWDERED Amoxicillin 250mg

You should mix one capsule with 1 ml of hot water til dissolved, then add 4 ml of sweet syrup. If you give me a weight on your rat(s) then I can work out doses for you, or you can use 20 mg/kg with babies and 30 mg/kg for adults.
What are you trying to treat? A mild respiratory infection? Baby rat?

Its not a capsule its powder. I'm not treating for anything.

The packets are just loose powder like what's in a capsule. Same thing really.

I dont know. It says its
This is 250mg Amoxicillin so that means each gram contains 250mg

Oh sorry this is a new product. Use it as directed, mix 5 mls of fluid (use the hot water and syrup to make it more palatable) until I can wrap my head around it. Make sure what to are mixing up (mg/ml) and they are using the recommended dosage of 30 mg/kg

Ok I read their dosing instructions and they are dosing at 40 mg/kg which is too high. It will likely cause severe diarrhea. Use 0.06 ml per 100 g of body weight and you should be fine. Using this mix method 1/4 tsp with 5 ml of fluid gives you 50 mg/ml amoxi solution.
