How often do you wash hammocks?

I have been washing mine weekly when I do a cage cleaning. If I only use one hammock (which I tend to do often) I will swap it out for a clean one about halfway through the week if it starts to get dirty. Which is better - a clean hammock every week or every half a week? How often do you clean / swap yours?

My rat's don't use their hammocks so those I only wash biweekly.

I do however trade out the towels in their baskets every week

I wash once a week, but I've heard rats have a tendency to pee more frequently if everything in the cage is cleaned, so I often clean the hammock at a separate time from everything else, about a day after cage cleanings.

My rats usually keep their hammock pretty clean though

I used to do a complete cage scrub once a week and that included removing all hammocks and washing them. Sometimes I would switch out for new hammocks mid week.
