Been looking around and this seems like a really nice place. My name's Rae or Rachel, don't mind either way.
I've been wanting rats for two years and have been researching during that time, and I'm considering going to FurrButt Farms (http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/KY177.html) to rescue a few. Leaning towards a pair or trio of boys, but the girls there are gorgeous. I'd die for a hairless dumbo, haha. There's champagne hooded too, I love those. I'll probably just go there and see if any of them scream "Take me home!"
I own two dogs, Tess and Emma. Tess is older and Emma is a Humane Society Border Collie with severe hip dysplasia, she'll have her operation sometime near November. I don't think either of them will have trouble with rats, Emma especially, though Tess does dig up moles occasionally.
Figured I'd hang around here and learn some more and try to convince the parents to let me buy a cage and some rodents. Getting a bit closer to convincing them.
