Hello. I've had little friends crawling over me for at least 15 years (probably more). They used to give me the creeps, but those little darlings won me over for sure while they relieved me of my ignorance and prejudices.
Right now my 3-1/2 year old boy Smoochy is all I have left. He survived his brother Nibbler and sisters Lucy and Pixie, as well as his sisters' friends (cousins?) Ethyl and Daisy.
When we get pups we usually try to chain them so the old generation meets new, and they can be "shown the ropes". This usually maintains some continuity of the family tree (for our sake anyway) We have never had any conflict other than maybe a brief standoff. Shoot, I can talk forever about rats..........but I won't.
