Hi!
I'm duggieduckie and I'm from Maryland. I rescued my first ever ratty about 10 months ago from a shelter where he landed after doing a week-long stint in a snake cage. I call him Pungi, the snake charmer. He's older now and I realized how much he needed companionship but I was scared because I knew how hard it was to introduce a male intact rat to virtually any other rat. I was encouraged to try, and adopted two little brothers, Abbott and Costello. Introductions have been going on for about two weeks, and they aren't friends yet, but through reading posts on the forum and chatting with a few people in the chat room, I'm making much better progress.
That's my story in a nutshell!
