Hey! I'm Cora and I'm new to everything rat. I got my first boy last week, an 8 month old I've named Algernon. Once my cage arrives, I'll be hunting for a buddy for him.

I look forward to getting to know all of you and learning more about these cute little guys.

I got the name Algernon from the book titled "Flowers for Algernon". I figured it was a good name since it's about a really smart rat. :cheeky:

He's currently residing in an old cage my mother had (not that he's spending much time it right now), but it's not big enough for 2 and I wanted to get him a nicer one with different levels. I'm getting the SP Deluxe My First Home Cage for Exotics (http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.j ... Id=2753352).

Pics will be available as soon as I find the cable for my camera.
