Greetings From a New Member

Hello, my 'name' is Lizardian but most call me Lizard or Liz.

I currently do not own any rats of my own but I am wanting to adopt some in the near future. I do have a plethora of other animals - I am currently at 5 cats, 2 mice, 2 leopard geckos, and a dubia roach colony. (Don't worry - I have a large metal rat cage that is very sturdy so the cats can't get in, and the mice will be located on the opposite side of the house and have separate play-times from the rats because I know the two can stress each other out.)

Anyway, I came here because I had some questions and knew this would be a good community to hang out at. I am super excited to own rats and it's nice to meet everyone!

Hiya! I too am new (to owning rats that is), nice to meet you!
I too own a cat - a highly skilled hunter of a Bengal.
My boys didn't seem to mind when they smelled her, but be prepared for incessant meowing!

Good to meet another rat newbie!
I'm not sure how the cats are going to react to the rats. Hopefully they get along and won't try to attack them but I can't really trust them, lol.
