I was looking at different thing for Onyx to chew on (he's a terrible chewer!)...I've heard nylabones are good. Anything specific to avoid? I bought a tiny greenie (LoL) bone but I'm now realizing it's not very hard. Are these Ok for them?

I would stick with Nylabones either the edible or the originals.

Greenies: Guaranteed Analysis
Crude Protein Minimum 52.0%
Crude Fat Minimum 5.0%
Crude Fiber Maximum 1.5%
Moisture Maximum 15.0%

Nylabone Edibles (Chicken): Guranteed Analysis
Min. crude protein: 1%,
Min. crude fat: .5%,
Max. crude fiber: 8%,
Max. moisture: 15%

Nylabone Original:
Has no nutritional values as it is just nylon and natural flavour

But I swear by Nylabone for any dog and for any chewer ratties. Also the company doesn't test on animals and has been making those TFH books for time out of mind.

Definitely no greenies, way too high in protein.
Occasionally I've given the Nylabones edible but not all are low in protein and fat.

I really like these ones, also.... similar to nylabones edibles but come in a cranberry flavour that the rats love. They can be tricky to find, though.
