Goodbye Lava Mouse

Today Lava-Mouse left us... :sad3:
I got him from small_vic at Thanksgiving 2008 before she went to Denmark. I had been looking to adopt a mouse was lucky enough to come across Jane seeking foster homes for her babes. It was then Lava and Jasmine came to live with me. I left Jasmine with my sister who renamed her Mona. And Kava stayed with me. Mona passed a few months back and today Lava left me. I buried him in the back yard in hs baby food jar that he loved to sleep in. He was never a "pet-me" mouse but a very sweet "talk-to-me-and-call-me-nice-things" mouse. He was about two years old and will be missed dearly...

Sorry to hear of your loss. I know how hard it is. My little girl, Frosty, (the last of my group of 4) is living day to day. Everytime I go in the bedroom, I look over at her cage, and slowly approach wondering if her time had come. Good things really DO come in small packages.
