Me and Gobo went on a little adventure today! We went to the Toronto Humane Society, for their Christmas Bazaar and to get his photo taken with Santa!

Everyone loved him, he made many friends, and hopefully showed them how awesome rats are! We also went to see all their animals, three rats (two females which he loved smelling! Eep! That was a little nerve wracking for me! I shared our cheerios with them heehee), and all the cats! He was so good the whole time!

Here are the photos! It was great, they put all the pictures on a USB for you take home.

Aw, but I must say Santa looks alittle freaked out - what's with his big eyes? Now I want to go get Santa pics.... I have a suit or two from when my boy was little maybe I can get their daddy to wear it... :bow: please please, it will take a lot of begging!!
 
Yah he pretty expressionless in all the pictures. He was telling me about rats he had as a kid though, and actually seemed pretty excited.

You should do Santa pictures!!!

I know Petsmart does it (ick..) but some other pet stores do. I went to the local Humane Society.
 
Aww, that's sweet!
My vet was having pics with Santa too, but I was too worried about all the cats/predatory birds that might be there, so I decided not to.
 
Honestly, I have never had a problem with cats/dogs around the rats. In passing, they dont notice each other at all. Not one dog today noticed Gobo. He was safe and happy in my hood.

No actually, Gobo didnt! He didnt even pee or poo on me! There were some raisins in his carrier, so I think he got that out of his system on the way there!
 
I hate xmas, but gotta say that seeing your darling Gobo with Santa makes it seem more heartwarming than all the buybuybuy commercials that plague me.
Gobo is SO adorable! I love pic 4 best. Santa does look a little less than jolly, but bless his heart for being there doing that, I expect he was a volunteer.
