The Marshall looks decent but it doesn't have a middle floor? Whats the point in that?

SP 2x2 - wide bar spacing, I am not a fan of the shelves..in fact I hate pee river grooves in SP shelves. Every SP cage that has gone through my home (exception of 1 small SP cage) has had the shelves removed and I make my own.

SP Funnels - wide bar spacing, more pee-river shelves, and I hear that the tunnels get nasty and are hard to clean? Is there only the 1 door at the bottom? I don't mind the SP's with a door on the top and the bottom but just the one is not good unless your rats will always come to the door when you need them? :cheeky:

FN - my fav, if you need the spacing to be less you can cover it in hardware cloth. Lots of room, easy to clean, etc.
Con's - MUST use fleece/fabric (shallow pans) which get chewed and have to be changed often, pans sometimes get chewed
Pro's - a ton of room to decorate and make it entertaining, Big doors for access and cleaning. :)

FN barspacing - 1" x 5"
The SP's are 1" by 4" (but more flexible so a rat can squeeze through easier)

My 6 am contribution. :)

I would say, get the ferret nation because you cant compare it to the other cages which arnt that great. But, if the Critter nation comes out and you want to get that, then sell the fn (which wont be hard to do because people are always looking for fn. Oh, and sell it on kijiji) and then buy the critter.

I've got a Martin's R695 and an FN 142 (double FN). I love them both . . . but I love the FN more!

I would say, go for the FN! :wink2:
