One of my ratties is right next to me now, staring the cartoons at TV ( Angelina Ballerina the mousie  )
Is he actually watching the show or just staring that way?

I knwo that bunnies like the sounds nad the colours of TV, some rats sleep with there eyes open, I am not to sure if they watch it or not or just love the movment.

My rats completely ignore the TV.

same here. they generally ignore everything unless its a cuddle or some food.

I hate the idea of animals watching tv. Like, when a dog sits and watches the telly. how bored must an animal be to be forced to watch a television?

REALLY interesting article Jo! I know parrots can see UV (the spots on a budgerigars cheeks shine to other birds) and its awsome to be able to see them on the flowers in the link

Would tiny eyeglasses help a rat see better?
No

LOL

When Gopher lived with alicemcmallis he enjoyed listening to the tv, and laid himself out to watch certain shows with her, he also enjoys laying in my bed and watching the 'treehouse' channel with Cole before bed while I read....
