Can I put diatomaceous earth in my rats water? I was told it would clean out any parasites they might have, which I'm pretty sure they do since they are all either rescues from snake feeding or kids of those snake food rescues.
Not too much, just a pinch in a water bottle? I don't want them breathing it in. I was also told I could put it at the bottom of their cage where it gets wet and the diatomaceous earth would soak up the liquid and most odor. Can I use it under the bedding and in the water or should I just keep using it on the livestock instead?
