Oh No Cait, this is so bad, I know how special Denny was to you, so very sorry your post made me cry for you & all of us that have to go through this, I know word can't help but feel good sweetie you two got to have each other for awhile, you will meet again!

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Something that never get easier to deal with and the wounds never heal BUT we do learn to live with them there.

Denny will always be with you, in your heart and in your mind as you will forever be with him.

One day your souls will meet again.

And a gentle note about the song by Johnny Cash: That song was the one my grandfather taught me. It was one of the few memories that will never fade from my heart. So when I saw it used for another loved one, it made me cry with joy. I hope that song brings peace to your heart as it always does mine...

Jenn, thank you so much for that poem... I'm going to print it out and place it in a frame with his picture.

Phyllis, that is one of my favorites... Especially the first part, "They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true, but I never wanted memories I only wanted you".

Avatar, that is ALSO one of my favorites, and actually the one I went to first when someone had asked me what I'd want on a tribute type deal. It makes me sad but happy, if that makes sense.

It seems like any song I hear I can attribute to Denny. It makes me wish I had video making skills. Recently a song I heard that made me think of him was "You Could Be Happy" by Snow Patrol. Especially this one part: You could be happy/ I hope you are/ You made me happier than I've been by far/ Somehow everything I own smells of you/ And for the tiniest moment/ It's all not true.

I really can't keep checking this thing, it makes me too sad.
