Today Daisy started on her journey to The Rainbow Bridge
Daisy and her 4 sisters filled a space in our hearts when we had only Cotton left from our first Girls..they were joined by Hope a sweet rescue but Cotton and Hope made their journey and Daisy and her sisters remained...Happy and well...but Daisy unfortunately suffered a stroke that left her with balance problems and she took a rapid downward turn...At one point we considered that she was minutes away from starting her journey but she clung onto life like a true fighter and after a series of meds and steroid injections and syringe feeding she pulled through..she had some of her old spring back and was back to playing and eating...although her balance was never what it was and she stayed at the bottom of the cage snuggled with one or two of her sisters...ultimately she took a dip for the worse again and although she had meds and care she decided to start her journey to the bridge this morning...Daisy had a great life with her sisters and would always come and nudge our side or nibble to say "Hey I'm here is it treat time yet?" her fight and will to live through illness was an amazing feat still wanting her slices of cucumber and wanting to clean and care about her appearance even if at times it meant rolling onto her side because of her balance issues she was just a wonder rattie... Daisy will have a Huge family to meet and play with at the bridge..where she will be well and happy again until the day that we all meet once more and cross together...

Never a goodbye...Just a "See you Later our amazing Daisy Chains"...We will look after your family here you pass our love on to our huge family there xxx
