I live in Lower SAckville, NS and I just moved to a new house, I have 3 cats, so I don't worry about mice. I have never in my life had rats. So...its is winter and I am looking outside, my friend and I, and she says, "Look at the mouse!!" I said the size of that, it must be a rat!. I had been seeing little foot prints, in the snow, going to my green bin, and was wondering what type of animal made them. Anyway, he appears to be alone, doesn't bother us, but I always heard rat were full of diseases etc. You see, Im the woman in the neighborhood who feeds everything! I had a family of raccoons I was feeding in my old place, all the strays...etc. My own animals are kept indoors. My Mom said that one Rat will have nine more with it. I think he is kind of cute, I just don't want them chewing up my house. Funny is that the house was vacant for several months before I moved in. Any suggestions?
