just siting here on the couch, the rat cage is right next to the TV ..all of a sudden Chloe went crazy and did 3 laps around the cage, up the walls, in the wheel ...and then stopped and acting like nothing happened ....

Maybe a noise on the TV set her off? How old is she? Alice loves to take laps around the cage sometimes, climbing the walls, leaping off of the lava ledges. I chalk it up to her still being young and full of energy.

Probably just enjoying her run. I have seen rats do this, looks like they are panicking but then are fine immediately after. weird.

Chester does it all the time - and will freeze for a few minutes when he's done. Then he'll go to his normal self. I guess they have these bouts of energy that HAVE to come out! :giggle:
