It is a cute pic but I think that was posted early June. Not too sure if it can be nominated though for July.

Morena likes to cuddle with Marie in the hammock and they groom each other. I thought I would have a lot of trouble with those two because at one point during initial intros Morena had a mouthful of Marie's hair. And Marie likes to be the boss.
Rusalka likes to keep to her own as usual. Prefers to avoid the babies especially. But occasionally she will cuddle with the others.

Since Marie's and her daughter's leaving to live with my girls, Alice has decided that she's the big one and should toss and power grooming the other fosters daily (who love the attention). I don't know why she surrendered leadership to Marie who is much smaller. But there you go.

I'm strongly considering doing away with one of my cage levels until I purchase a planned new cage (probably an FN). I can sell cheap and make some pocket change. The main thing is that I dislike the flooring that I jerry-rigged in the top level. Used as a single this is less of a problem for a potential buyer. I would of course keep the level with the litter tray :roll:

One level of my cage is bigger than one level of an FN and so my five tiny girls will do fine in it until I purchase a new cage.

Sometimes they choose not to sleep on fabric scraps I give them and instead, I imagine, want to cool off on the meta shelves. At these times they find it uncomfortable and take turns trying to use each other as beds.
