Thanks everyone for the help! my little guy caesar has an infection sadley but tums is doing amazing and loves us more than anything, the gloves i must add worked for the first couple times, because i find with any animal if your a little scared they can sense it and it makes them nervous, gloves help for peoplee more than the rats themselves

Yea those are so young. Pet stores should not be selling rats that young. They are most definitely girls. The only benefits of them being so young is its easier to socialize them as long as you put in the time. When you are home doing whatever have them on your person, it will go so far. Good luck
