My gosh, I LIVED on that show as a kid... long before I realized it was shot in Toronto (or what Toronto was - too sheltered by nuns in Montreal!).

First time we drove by the Toronto Public Library location where the outside bits were shot I think I screamed.

When Moon and I were looking up the bookmice stuff the other day, this one came up in my head and I've had the song in my head ever since, that and Dudley the Dragon.
