My little man was put down today. he had lost 61 grams by now, and had not eaten anything in a day or so.

I got both Bambi & Thumper from petsmart (before I knew about about mills) when they where about 4-5 weeks old.

He was a pretty healthy guy, only one URI in his life. But within the last month he started to breath heavily, and even gasping. We tried many meds and ideas etc. But nothing worked. We believe it might have been pulmonary abscess.

RIP Bambi, ill miss you.

I know from reading the post that it was a hard thing to do but he is at rest now with no more pain. He will always know that he had a great mom with lots of love.

I'm so sorry! :hugs: Poor Bambi (and you!) went through so much... I'm sure he is much better where he is now. I hate it when those symptoms keep adding up and don't leave us a fighting chance... :(

RIP Bambi, breathe easy and play hard at the Bridge. You did everything you could for him, and I'm sure he felt loved and cared for.
:hugs:
