Sadly, Artemis couldn't be spayed when she first came to mamarat due to really bad lungs and of course... she developed multiple mammary tumours. But despite her appendages, Artie is living a good life.

Its always preferable to have tumours removed of course (health permitting) but its not a death sentence and rats can live happy, long lives with careful managment, just like Jo said. She is sooo gorgeous and does NOT look 3 even with her "friends".
