Your cage looks great! I think it is very important to have different places for rats to sleep as sometimes they want to be by themselves.
Your boys aren't so bad looking either... :giggle:

I personally hated the previous arrangement, I found it messy and horrible looking, though it was easy to wipe down.

And their new floor time! I had it around my table as I am usually here and I can sit on the floor when I need a break off my Mac or I can just sit in with them being around me. Not to mention no more walls and mattresses chewings! :thumbup:

It is also easy to keep for me :dance: I made it quite compact!
 
:thud: OMG. They look SO FUZZY and sweet and not bitey and sooooo friendly! I can't wait till our boys are like that!!! I love your crazy cages, I bet they just have the most awesome days. If I was a rat living in your colony, I think I'd never go to bed!!! :D

Thanks for your kind words! Though I am uncertain with them at times, too!

I am in no positions to give them much out time, so I try to make sure they are as kept entertained as possible.
 
I never thought of using the shower hooks to hang the bubble or sputnik as some people call it. :emb: :emb: Ours get stretched out so I buy a new one and put the old one on the floor. Darn, I feel so stupid some times :emb: :bow: :emb:

I did that as I could not open the big door at the top if I just attach it that way - The rats will get turned over!
 
all of your boys are the cutest, and I love all the stuff in your big cage! the only problem I see with that is that there's so much more to keep clean. at least your rats won't get bored.
