Accidental Litter on Craigslist?

While browsing craigslist I came across someone with an accidental litter. They need to get rid of them, I was thinking about taking two. Am I taking a big risk by getting rats from an accidental litter (and Craigslist for that matter)?

They would be considered rescue rats.
You could speak with the person who has them about not exposing the rats to other rats so that it is less likely they will have the more serious rat diseases (like SDA).

If mom and babies are fed a good diet, not kept on softwood and the babies are handled so are socialized, then they will be wonderful additions to your family.

It's a risk anytime you bring home new rats but that's usually something you can control through quarantine.
If you want them, go for it.
