Kitchener -Waterloo Humane Society has four male rats currently up for adoption. These boys all came from the same home but were kept in a cage too small for all 11 and they subsequently started fighting... unfortunately instead of pairing the boys off the shelter have the boys living one to a hamster cage.
These are big friendly boys. I have yet to meet Frank, who just went up for adoption as he was sick for a short while there, but the rest are lovers. Big Papa and Jack (the PEWs) are very outgoing. Big Papa wants nothing more then to be pet and cuddle; Jack is very similar to Big Papa in terms of personality. He loves people and kept looking for pets after I put him back into his cage. He's a true cuddle-bug.
Nutmeg the Black hooded dumbo is very social like the rest of his brothers, but he is definitely the explorer of the group. While he didn't mind sitting for cuddles, you could tell he was raring to go.
