Hello, and welcome to the shack!

The main reason I'm posting in this thread is because I volunteer at the humane society (location witheld) where you adopted Natasha (I see you named her Tizzy) and Zaphora. I've been on the shack for a few months now, and I'm excited to see the girls going to an owner that's willing to participate in and research rat knowledge. Also, I have aspergers, too. Coincidence? By the way, Petunia pointed me in your direction. Good luck with the girls!

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you! I'm always happy to meet more rat people as well as asperger people! You are both which is really cool. I have some asperger traits though not enough for a dx but my son has a diagnosis.

We all benefit so much by having these ratties in our lives. Niko is scaring me a lot with choking lately. She's 2.5 and has HED. I tried giving her some glucosamine in yogurt yesterday and she choked very scarily. Seems it needs to be watered down more so I'm going to try that today as well as giving her small amounts from my finger.

I'm on the facebook ratshack, too. I'm terrible about forgetting to check here.
